Chapter 93 - The Full Card

AUSSIE OPEN (c) vs GRIZZLED YOUNG VETERANS
Tag Team Titles Match
In the absence of a standout No.1 Contender, Aussie Open issued an open challenge for Chapter 93 (watch it here). However, apparently "open challenges are rotten" and GYV made it known that they'd be returning to PROGRESS and the Electric Ballroom this Sunday to challenge for the tag team titles. Both Aussie Open and GYV are 2-time champs... both teams will be bidding to join CCK as the most successful tag champs in company history.

CCK vs South Pacific Power Trip
CCK are on a little bit of a roll... the reunited pairing of Chris Brookes and Jonathan Gresham controversially defeated LAX earlier this year in the 3rd chapter of those teams' rivalry, and Gresham got one over on Eddie Kingston at Chapter 92, leaving his opponent on the outside of the ring and winning by countout.
SPPT missed out on becoming tag team champions the last time we were in Camden, with miscommunication scuppering their chances. This incarnation of SPPT - TK Cooper and NIWA - will be hoping to pick up a win and position themselves as viable challengers to the titles going forward.

And in the meantime, their teammate is in action...

TRAVIS BANKS vs RICKEY SHANE PAGE
The Kiwi Buzzsaw is back after a sojourn to his native New Zealand and, like Cooper and NIWA, will want to put the happenings of Chapter 90 behind him. He'll be facing off with Rickey Shane Page, who came up short against NIWA at Ch90 but who will have learned a few things about the Kiwis' MO during that match.

YUU vs DANI LUNA vs JODY THREAT vs GISELE SHAW
What's better than a debut? Four debuts! YUU is a Tokyo Joshi Pro alumnus now making waves all over the world; Dani Luna is a homegrown product of the excellent Dragon Pro school in South Wales; Jody Threat will be facing off with Toni Storm (7th August) and teaming with David Starr vs Chris Brookes and Jordynne Grace (8th August) when we head to Canada, and has made the trip over here to give us a taste of what she has in store; Gisele Shaw is an experienced wrestler from the Philippines via Canada, who's made her home here in the UK. Excited to see what these four women can bring to PROGRESS.

LUCKY KID vs PAUL ROBINSON
Robinson is in the best form of his PROGRESS career, picking up win after win after win. That form has seen him earn a Unified World Title match with WALTER in Toronto... but first he faces off with one of WALTER's wXw colleagues, and this year's 16 Carat Gold tournament winner, Lucky Kid. Lucky himself will be trying to gain a bit of momentum after a low-key SSS16 tournament in May... the question is, with WALTER on the horizon, can Robinson focus enough to put Lucky away?

THE NIC vs DO NOT RESUSCITATE
Big opportunity here for The NIC, making their Chapter debut. Do Not Resuscitate have struggled for consistency and momentum, although the team of Trivet and Eaver did pick up a win over More Than Hype at our last show. Another win and DNR will surely be looking back towards the tag team titles; another loss and who knows where DNR would go from there.

And finally...
THE O.J.M.O. vs SHIGEHIRO IRIE
Irie stepped in to partner WALTER at the last moment at Chapter 90; The O.J.M.O. immediately captured the hearts of PROGRESS fans on his Chapter debut in that same match. Irie is a former challenger to the World Title and would dearly like to work his way back towards another championship opportunity; O.J.M.O. is on the run of his relatively short pro wrestling career right now... but can he concentrate on the task at hand, with the Natural Progression Series 6 event just seven weeks away?
