HOW DO I GET THERE?
All three cities have international airports nearby. Hamburg and Frankfurt have bigger airports; Dusseldorf serves Oberhausen. All three have trains connecting the airport and the central station.
Hamburg: Markthalle is right next to the central station (Hauptbahnhof).
Oberhausen: Go to 'Feuerwache' (1 stop from central station (Hauptbahnhof)); it's 3 mins walking distance to the venue from there.
Frankfurt: Take a tram to Gwinnerstrasse. The tram stops right in front of the venue.
Note: for some reason Google Maps does not include trams in Frankfurt. Use VRR.de for your navigation.
Getting from town to town is easiest by train. If you book ahead of time with Deutsche Bahn, you can save money on tickets. They become more expensive, the closer you get to the travel date.
HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
In addition to the info above - the presale is done via wxw-shop.com. There is no English version of the shop, but it's a very simple web store and easy to use.
Payment can be done via Paypal or credit card (Kreditkarte). For German customers Sofortueberweisung.de (using one's German online banking) and Lastschrift are available as well.
You will receive hard tickets for those events, no need to carry your Paypal receipt around. Tickets can either be sent to your home address or be picked up at the front desk once doors open. This is convenient and you won't risk forgetting your tickets at home when packing. Check ABHOLUNG AN DER ABENDKASSE for this pick-up option. Pickup is free of charge.
WHAT'S THE SEATING/STANDING SET-UP?
Hamburg: Seats on three sides of the ring. The entrance side has a standing room pit holding up to 50 fans. There is way more standing room behind the seats (Stehplatz Rang).
Oberhausen: One side with seats, standing room including right at the ring on the other three sides. Same setup as used at 16 Carat Gold this year.
There is a VIP balcony in Oberhausen with free 'well' drinks included in your price. Very limited quantity of tickets.
The Oberhausen venue has a minimum consumption of 6 Euro per person. It's collected ONCE A DAY at the front gate.
Frankfurt: This is a venue with seats on all four sides of the ring, limited standing room will be made available if and when seats sell out.
Please note all times are central European time, not UK time.
