Info and FAQ: SSS16 Weekend at Alexandra Palace

The 2018 Super Strong Style 16 weekend will be held at ALEXANDRA PALACE on the 5th, 6th and 7th May. It's a big change of venue, the first time we've run the weekender away from the Electric Ballroom, and people have been asking us lots of questions. So, we thought we'd compile them into a helpful FAQ.

When do tickets go on sale?
Dates are still TBC but at the moment we're looking at late November for weekend tickets, early December for day tickets. There will be a mailing list presale for both weekend and day tickets.

Where do I get tickets?
Tickets will be on sale at Seetickets.com, which is the venue's official ticketing platform. We'd love to sell them through our own portal, but right now Ticket Tailor isn't sophisticated enough to cope with the different things that we need in place for an event on this scale.

Is Super Strong Style 16 included in the 2018 Season Ticket?
Yep! 2018 Season Ticket holders will be given printed tickets and will be placed as follows:
Row 1 ST = Row 1 in Alexandra Palace
Row 2/3 ST = Rows 2-6 in Alexandra Palace
Row 4 back ST = Rows 6-12 in Alexandra Palace
Standing ST = Rows 13 back in Alexandra Palace

How much are day tickets?
Row 1 £35
Rows 2-6 £32
Rows 7-12 £29
Row 13 back £24
Weekend tickets will be as above, multiplied by 3, less a percentage discount.
Booking/service fees will be added. Sorry, it's unavoidable.

Are any of the premium seats being kept back for general sale?

All seats in all price bands will be available during the pre-sale.

Is the seating tiered or flat?
Seating for this event is flat. Having run an event in the venue already, we can confidently say that you get a good view of the ring from everywhere in the room!

Are there standing tickets available?
No, sorry. This is an all-seater event.

Are seats allocated, or unreserved within ticket band?
Tickets are unreserved within the ticket band you choose.

Is there a limit on the number of tickets I can buy?
TBC

I'm disabled and want to come - what do I need to do?
Please book a disabled ticket when tickets go on sale. Disabled tickets automatically come with a free carer ticket. Disabled seats are in designated areas, with a clear line of sight to the ring.

Where will the ring be situated?
On the floor in the middle of the room.

Will you have a screen?
Yes, just like at Chapter 55 we'll have a big screen above the entrance.

What are the event timings?
Each day:
Doors at 2pm.
Show at 4pm.
Finished by 8pm latest.

Is there an age restriction?
Yes, like all our shows the minimum age limit is 14 with an accompanying adult, 16 without.

Will you be doing evening entertainment/events again?
We'll definitely be doing something! Right now we don't know if that will be at Alexandra Palace itself, or somewhere nearby. When we have more info, we'll let you know.

Will there be a separate Meet & Greet?
Possibly, but it's a long time away. If we decide to do an official meet & greet, we'll let you know in good time.

I need a hotel. Any recommendations?
Booking.com is pretty reliable, and if you book using this link we get a little kickback which helps us put on the show too!

What's the parking like at Alexandra Palace?
There is plenty of free parking at the venue, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What about accessibility?
The entire venue is flat-floor and accessible to disabled fans. Access into the venue is available via a step-free route.
Our shows are loud, and have bright lights throughout. Strobe lights may be used.

For more, please refer to the Alexandra Palace Disabled Access info.

The bar at Chapter 55 was BUSY. Are you doing anything to make it better this time?
Yes! The bars and merch area will be moved into the Great Hall for this event, which means that there will be plenty of space. We're hoping to have more than one bar open too, which will cut queuing time down considerably.

What about food?
We're currently working with the venue to provide a more varied and inclusive range of food on offer. This is as a result of those fans who took the time to give us constructive and useful feedback so that we could make the fan experience better than it was last time, particular in relation to bars and food.
