Training with PROGRESS
Our Training School – THE PROJO – started in 2012 and is going strong.
The Progress Dojo (aka The Projo) is a full-time professional wrestling school in Brixton, just 10 minutes from Central London.
The Projo offers scheduled classes and private hire 7 days a week. The week’s training schedule is posted every Monday morning on the Projo Facebook page. New starters are welcome to sign up to our Beginner training courses, which start periodically throughout the year.
If you’re after private tuition either 1-to-1 or in a group, drop us a line by email or via the Facebook page for info.
Our facilities are second to none:
– Full-size pro wrestling ring permanently erected
– 400 sq ft matted area
– Benches, free weights, battle ropes and more
– Fully equipped promo/photo studio
– Video analysis facilities for instant feedback or screening matches
Head trainer “Dazzling” Darrell Allen oversees a training team that also includes “The Pride of Wales” Eddie Dennis, Danny Garnell and James Davis of the London Riots; as well as guest seminar speakers that have already included the likes of Will Ospreay, Steve Grey, Chris Hero, Kyle O’Reilly, Doug Williams, Tommaso Ciampa, Raven, Ricochet and Zack Sabre Jr.
We also offer character, performance and showmanship training with PROGRESS co-owner Glen Joseph, an acclaimed leading man and West End star.
Projo graduates can be found performing on shows all over the country and further afield, and we feel that there’s a real chance of one of our students could become a next breakaway British success over the next few years.
If you’re planning a birthday party for kids, or a stag party for your best mate, we can offer a private hire of the ProJo with activities specific to your age group. We’ve already hosted loads of private parties and they’ve all been a great success. Get in touch with us and we can discuss things further. Trust us, it’s a lot more fun than going bowling or paintballing!
We also offer exclusive private hire of the entire facility for filming, photoshoots, or in-ring practice. Our building has been used for numerous music video shoots, and role-play videos, and both head trainer “Dazzling” Darrell Allen and Pastor William Eaver worked alongside YouTube star KSI for his Rule ‘Em Sports series, which was filmed over several days at the Projo.
