PROGRESS returned to the North with Chapter 181: Far From Ordinary People, delivering a card full of grudges, returns, surprises and title implications. Here’s everything that went down on a hot Sunday night in Manchester:

Man Like Dereiss def. Ethan Allen

With Chris Ridgeway forced to withdraw due to injury, Ethan Allen stepped up to face the Super Strong Style 16 winner. Despite Allen’s explosive offence and hometown support, Dereiss proved too sharp on the night, scoring the win and further staking his claim to PROGRESS gold.

PROGRESS Wrestling Pick Your Poison Match: Kanji def. Lana Austin

The feud between Kanji and Nina Samuels took another twist, as Kanji overcame Austin in a physical battle. Lana’s Manchester welcome was loud, but Kanji’s resilience saw her pick up a crucial win heading into the next chapter.

PROGRESS Wrestling Tag Team Championship: Lykos Gym def. The Sunshine Machine (c)New Champions!

Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II dethroned long-time champions Chuck Mambo & TK Cooper in a fast-paced title bout that had fans on their feet. The win marks another huge milestone for Lykos Gym, who now stand atop the PROGRESS tag team division.

PROGRESS Wrestling Pick Your Poison Match: Nina Samuels def. Shotzi Blackheart

In Shotzi’s highly anticipated PROGRESS debut, it was Nina Samuels who walked out victorious. Samuels’ mind games and ruthless execution stole the result, but Shotzi left a major impression on the Manchester crowd.

Four-Way Match: Charles Crowley def. Simon Miller, Jack Morris & Adam Maxted

Charles Crowley continued his hot streak in a chaotic four-way, stealing the win with his signature cunning and timing. The unpredictable showman now has eyes on bigger things as he picks up a marquee victory over some of PROGRESS’ most in-form names.

Charlie Sterling def. RPD

RPD made his PROGRESS debut to a roaring hometown ovation, but it was Charlie Sterling who walked away with the win. The returning Sterling proved too much in the end, cutting off the rookie’s momentum and reminding fans why he’s one of the sharpest on the roster.

Alexxis Falcon def. Hollie Barlow

Falcon’s dominance in the women’s division continued as she put away the ever-game Hollie Barlow. Barlow held her own in a physical affair, but Falcon’s experience and ruthless streak proved decisive.

In a highly anticipated main event, Luke Jacobs successfully defended his title against former champion Cara Noir. In a match laced with emotion, intensity and near-falls, Jacobs once again stood tall—cementing his reign in front of a vocal Manchester crowd. However, the final say was for the Super Strong Style 16 winner, Man Like Dereiss, who went face-to-face with teh champion and warned him he truly BELIEVES he will win the gold!
