At PROGRESS Chapter 95: Still Chasing on September 15, 2019, Drilla Dan Moloney entered a rumble match to determine the inaugural Progress Proteus Championship. The match also featured a star-studded lineup including Chris Brookes, Ilja Dragunov, Eddie Kingston, Millie McKenzie, Jonathan Gresham, Spike Trivet, and others.
Challenging Cara Noir for the PROGRESS World Championship at PROGRESS Chapter 104 on February 20, 2021, Moloney gave his all but was unsuccessful in capturing the prestigious title.
However, Moloney achieved a significant milestone in his career when he won his first title in PROGRESS Wrestling. At PROGRESS Chapter 131: 10th Anniversary Show on March 25, 2022, he and his tag team partner Man Like Dereiss, collectively known as “The 0121,” captured the PROGRESS Tag Team Championship. They emerged victorious in a five-way tag team match, overcoming formidable opponents such as Smokin’ Aces (Charlie Sterling and Nick Riley), Lykos Gym (Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II), Sunshine Machine (Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper), and North West Strong (Chris Ridgeway and Luke Jacobs).
In another championship opportunity, Moloney challenged Big Damo for the PROGRESS World Championship at PROGRESS Chapter 139: Warriors Come Out To Play on August 28, 2022.
Moloney would go on to face The Vulture and Sovereign Lord, Spike Trivet for the Men’s PROGRESS World Championship at Chapter 145: Wrestling Witch Face. In one of the most heated chats before any PROGRESS World Championship match, Spike Trivet sat down with Dan Moloney & PROGRESS co-owner Lee McAteer before their Championship match with the stipulation that if Drilla touched Spike Trivet at anytime he would have his title shot removed. After such a fierce chat back and forth the match more than lived up to its expectations and became a classic match in PROGRESS history, Dan Moloney showed he was destined for greatness.
Outside of PROGRESS, Moloney’s recent involvement in New Japan Pro Wrestling NJPW as part of Bullet Club has provided him with invaluable experiences and even more exposure. Additionally, his time as a member of the United Empire faction further solidifies his reputation as a formidable competitor within the wrestling industry.
