Paul Walter Hauser to make his UK Wrestling Debut for PROGRESS Wrestling at Chapter 183
PROGRESS Wrestling will mark a monumental milestone on Monday, 25 August 2025, as it hosts Chapter 183: 100 VOLTS, their one-hundredth event held at the legendary Electric Ballroom in Camden. Taking place on the AEW Forbidden Door bank holiday weekend, this show promises to be a landmark celebration of PROGRESS’ legacy and it now comes with an electrifying twist.
For the first time ever, Grammy Award-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser will compete on UK soil, making his highly anticipated British wrestling debut at 100 VOLTS. Best known for his award winning turn on Black Bird, his standout performance in Cobra Kai and his upcoming turn in the Naked Gun reboot, Hauser is no stranger to the spotlight, but in recent years, he’s been carving out a name in the world of professional wrestling, and he wants the wrestling world to take him seriously.
He made huge strides in that this past April, when Hauser stunned the entertainment world by capturing the PROGRESS Proteus Championship on his debut for the company in Las Vegas on Wrestlemania weekend.
However, his journey has been far from smooth. During that match he suffered brutal injuries – a haematoma, four fractured ribs, and bursitis in his shoulder, forcing him to take a necessary step back. But now, just as the world awaits his return to the big screen in the Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Hauser is returning to the ring on his terms, in front of a UK crowd.
Paul Walter this week said: “I’ve talked to the top brass and no matter what I will be returning to PROGRESS. I know that I will be in the most historic building for wrestling in Europe and I can’t wait to defend my Proteus World Title against whoever they throw at me.”
