It was a day to remember for Alexxis Falcon on Sunday as she was crowned PROGRESS Wrestling’s Women’s World Championship in thrilling style against Rayne Leverkusen at Chapter 189: In Darkest Night.

Under the lights of Camden’s Electric Ballroom, Alexxis secured a historic triumph to defeat Leverkusen who had previously retained her title three consecutive times.

Alexxis’ outfit in the ring was inspired by her favourite rollercoaster ride at Disney World, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

“The inspiration behind my ring gear is Tower of Terror,” Alexxis said.

“It’s one of my favourite rides at Disney and my first big thrill ride I ever went on! It’s supposed to look like one of the cast members outfits with the logo and buttons, with a lightning strike across it to symbolise the lightning that happens!”
