New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star, Drilla Dan Moloney returned to PROGRESS Wrestling at Sunday’s Chapter 188: UNBOXING VIII – The Search for Socks – against Spike Trivet, who made his first in-ring match appearance since losing the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship to Kid Lykos.

His achievements with both PROGRESS and in New Japan Pro Wrestling has enabled the Birmingham-born wrestler to ascent to stardom.

Having made his PROGRESS debut in 2013, Moloney’s stunning return in today’s show signified a showcase moment of the United Kingdom’s biggest independent professional wrestling company.

Following Moloney’s match against Spike, PROGRESS co-owner Lee McAteer was delighted to see Drilla back in the PROGRESS ring.

McAteer, said: “To welcome Drilla back to PROGRESS is fantastic. We’re so proud of Drilla and everybody else in the 0121, of course our reigning defending PROGRESS Men’s World Champion, Man Like Dereiss, and Leon Slater, who has been doing phenomenal things on both TNA and NXT.

“It’s fair to say that if you want to see the superstars of tomorrow, today, that’s why you should come to PROGRESS Wrestling.”
