Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) have been a force in PROGRESS Wrestling for years – combining the ruthless edge of Drake with Gibson’s sharp technical craft to forge one of the promotion’s most compelling tag teams.

Their journey features multiple Tag Team Championship reigns: seizing gold at Chapter 74 in July 2018 by defeating The Anti‑Fun Police, then again at Chapter 93 in July 2019 with a victory over Aussie Open. In late 2023 and early 2024 they hit a rough patch, suffering tough losses to Kid Lykos II (Chapter 164, 1 March 2024) and Sunshine Machine (Chapter 162, 28 January 2024). These setbacks followed other stinging defeats—losing their titles to Jordan Devlin & Scotty Davis at Chapter 96 and coming up short in a title triple-threat at Chapter 95. Each loss has fuelled their fire, sharpening their focus and cohesion.
