Nina Samuels Loses Loser Leaves PROGRESS Match
PROGRESS Wrestling’s Chapter 184 event concluded with a high-stakes main event as Nina Samuels faced Kanji in a Loser Leaves PROGRESS contest.
The match brought an end to a months-long rivalry between the two wrestlers. From the opening exchanges, both competitors targeted specific areas, with Kanji working on Samuels’ leg while Samuels concentrated on Kanji’s arm.
The contest included several dramatic moments, including accidental contact with the referee, a replacement official being struck, and the action spilling onto the entrance stage and commentary table. Samuels landed her “Star Struck” finishing move for a near fall, but Kanji recovered and applied a Kimura arm-lock, forcing Samuels to submit after a hellacious half hour of competition.
As a result of the stipulation, Nina Samuels must now leave PROGRESS Wrestling. Following the bell, she acknowledged the crowd’s reaction before making her exit from the company.
Kanji’s victory closed the show at the Electric Ballroom, with the outcome marking a significant change to the women’s division and with her biggest foe gone, a clear path for her to regain the PROGRESS Women’s World Championship.
