PROGRESS Tag Team Title Match: Smokin’ Aces (c) vs. SUBCULTURE

The Smokin’ Aces retained their PROGRESS Tag Team Titles in controversial fashion against Subculture.

The match was an intense back-and-forth until Nick Riley pushed the referee into the ropes, causing Mark Andrews to lose his balance before hitting his shooting star press. The underhanded tactic allowed the champions to capitalize, leaving Subculture—and the crowd—fuming.

 

Singles Match: Connor Mills vs Myles Kayman

Myles Kayman shocked everyone with a surprise win over Connor Mills in their singles match. Despite being considered an underdog, Kayman delivered a stellar performance and declared post-match that “The Starboy has arrived in PROGRESS.” This victory solidifies Kayman as a rising star to watch… whilst Connor Mills was dejected only to end his night with Nico Angelo attacking Lykos Gym!

 

Tag Team Match: Skye Smitson & Sam Bailey vs MothDog

Gene Munny and Session Moth Martina, collectively known as Mothdog, were originally slated to face LA Taylor and Skye Smitson. However, before the match, Mothdog attacked Taylor backstage, forcing Manchester’s own Sam Bailey to step in as Smitson’s partner. Despite Bailey’s best efforts, Mothdog’s antics and chemistry secured them the win in a chaotic, crowd-pleasing bout, despite the outcome.

 

Singles Match: Charli Evans vs Cara Noir

Charli Evans and Cara Noir delivered a groundbreaking first-time-ever singles match that transcended the label of intergender wrestling. Evans aimed to shatter the notion of boundaries in wrestling, proving that skill and storytelling take precedence over outdated concepts.

The match was an emotional rollercoaster, with Charli Evans proving Cara Noir’s equal. Both competitors were champions of change, with Evans refusing the handshake from Cara until they had completed their hard-hitting match. It ended with a devastating package piledriver and Cara Noir picking up the win, but Charli hadd won all of our hearts and minds with her powerful message, before shaking Cara’s hand for not treating her like a woman, but an equal. A match like this will be remembered as a defining moment for PROGRESS Wrestling.

 

Tag Team Match: Lykos Gym vs Trew & Lacey

Lykos Gym faced a tough challenge from Trew & Lacey, who pushed the self-proclaimed best junior heavyweight tag team in Europe to their limit. Despite the valiant effort from their cocky opponents, Lykos Gym’s experience and teamwork proved too much, as they emerged victorious in a match that highlighted the depth of PROGRESS’s tag team division.

However, they were attacked after the match by an irate Connor Mills and Nico Angelo, who look to fuel the fire in the division even more so!

 

Singles Match: Natalie Sykes vs Emersyn Jayne

Emersyn Jayne added another victory to her impressive record, defeating Natalie Sykes in a strong debut for the 21st Century Liability.

After the match, Jayne was handed a golden ticket, granting her a title shot against Lana Austin at VENDETTA 2. This announcement set the stage for a high-stakes showdown fans won’t want to miss THIS Sunday.

 

Main Event Tag Team Match: Young Guns vs Boisterous Behaviour

The night ended with an explosive tag team main event as Boisterous Behaviour and the Young Guns delivered what many are already calling the best match of the year in PROGRESS. Both teams brought their A-game in an all-out war, with high-flying action, brutal strikes, and nonstop intensity.

The shocking conclusion saw Leon Slater pin PROGRESS Men’s World Champion Luke Jacobs in his hometown, sending shockwaves through the division and cementing Slater’s place as a legitimate threat to the title scene…
