PROGRESS MEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
LUKE JACOBS (C) VS TATE MAYFAIRS

PROGRESS Men’s World Champion Luke Jacobs is set to defend his title against Thunderbastard key holder Tate Mayfairs at London’s Electric Ballroom.

Jacobs, who secured the championship by winning the 2024 Super Strong Style 16 tournament and then beating Kid Lykos has successfully defended his title for over 200 days.

His most recent defence was a gruelling four-way match at Chapter 175: Unboxing VII, where he emerged victorious over Man Like DeReiss, Leon Slater, and Ricky Knight Jr.

Tate Mayfairs earned his title shot by winning the Thunderbastard match at the same event, last eliminating Eddie Dennis to secure the opportunity. Known for his meticulous preparation, Mayfairs has been diligently studying Jacobs ahead of their upcoming clash.

This championship bout promises to be a high-stakes encounter, with Jacobs’ relentless determination to retain his title meeting Mayfairs’ calculated ambition to claim his first PROGRESS gold.

SINGLES MATCH
RHIO vs MEIKO SATOMURA

The legendary Meiko Satomura returns to PROGRESS for the first time since 2019 to face another former PROGRESS Women’s World Champion Rhio at London’s Electric Ballroom.

Satomura, a revered figure in Japanese wrestling, is set to retire this April, making this one of her final appearances in the UK.

Her opponent, Rhio, held the Women’s World Championship for an impressive 434 days before losing it to Nina Samuels in CONTROVERSIAL fashion.

This first-time-ever dream match promises a masterclass in technique and intensity. Fans can anticipate a compelling encounter that honors both competitors’ contributions to women’s wrestling.

TAG TEAM MATCH
SANITY vs SUNSHINE MACHINE

It started with a miss…

Chuck Mambo’s wayward kendo stick swing was aimed at Smokin’ Aces but he hit Big Damo and it led to SAnitY losing their PROGRESS Tag Team Championships. Expect a blend of aerial tactics and brute strength in this tag team showdown that has been MONTHS in the making between four former friends turned enemies.

Who will come out on top here will surely rise in the rankings of the tag team division!

Singles Match
NICO ANGELO VS KID LYKOS

For the past three months, Nico X Mills have been attacking Lykos Gym with vengeance. Ever since they became a unit in PROGRESS, they have systematically taken the pair of Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II after their matches, during matches and even in the Thunderbastard.

So far, Nico X Mills have shown the upper hand in this feud, without even explaining their actions, whilst Kid Lykos has claimed they are shooting for wrestlers they feel are higher up on the food chain. He also stated that Lykos Gym do not die and despite the way the feud has been going, they won’t lie down and are ready to FIGHT in Manchester.

The following weekend it is Nico Angelo and Kid Lykos going one on one as the latter looks for revenge after Nico was responsible for Lykos not winning the Thunderbastard.

There is not long left for you to buy your PROGRESS Wrestling tickets for Chapter 177: My Own Destiny. Head to the DICE app to see this STACKED card live and in person.
