PROGRESS Men’s World Championship
Man Like Dereiss (c) vs Lio Rush
The Men’s World Championship match brought international flair as Man Like Dereiss defended against former WWE and current AEW star Lio Rush. The contest initially built on mutual respect became heated in the lead up through musical diss tracks and online rivalry. Inside the ring both men showcased their athleticism in a fast paced encounter with Dereiss ultimately retaining the title to continue his unbeaten run as champion.
After the match Cara Noir sent a message to Dereiss by covering his custom title in blood and black feathers…
Result: Man Like DeReiss (c) defeated Lio Rush to retain the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship.
PROGRESS Women’s World Championship
Rhio (c) vs Rayne Leverkusen
The PROGRESS Women’s Title match saw Rayne Leverkusen complete her redemption story. Having previously been denied a one on one opportunity due to injury to Nina Samuels earlier in the year, Leverkusen finally received her shot at the dominant Rhio. In a fierce and physical contest Leverkusen overcame the champion to claim her first PROGRESS Women’s Championship ending Rhio’s reign and marking a defining moment in her career.
This match was superb and a MUST WATCH back on Demand PROGRESS Plus.
Result: Rayne Leverkusen defeated Rhio (c) to win the PROGRESS Women’s Championship.
PROGRESS Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
Lykos Gym (c) vs Nico X Mills vs Sunshine Machine
The night’s main event saw chaos rivalry and redemption collide. After months of tension between all three teams and multiple controversial finishes involving Lykos Gym and PROGRESS management, this was a sanctioned a Three Way Ladder Match for the Tag Team Titles.
All six competitors delivered a high risk spectacle with ladders dives and near misses throughout. In the end it was Diamond Eyes, the duo of Connor Mills and Nico Angelo who climbed to the top and claimed the titles dethroning Lykos Gym and securing their first PROGRESS Tag Team Championship in front of an electric Ballroom crowd.
Result: Diamond Eyes (Connor Mills & Nico Angelo) defeated Lykos Gym (c) and Sunshine Machine to win the PROGRESS Tag Team Championships.
Hyperactive PROGRESS Debut
Hyperactive vs LALLIE
In tag team action Hyperactive the pairing of Anita Vaughan and Safire Reed took on LALLIE the team of Lana Austin and Hollie Barlow – who due to it being a Halloween show, were dressed as Minions. Hyperactive taking control of the contest and scored the decisive win after targeted teamwork and hard hitting offence… and a banana.
Result: Hyperactive (Anita Vaughan & Safire Reed) defeated LALLIE (Hollie Barlow & Lana Austin)
PROGRESS ATLAS World Championship
Will Kroos (c) vs Charles Crowley
After claiming the Atlas Championship from Gene Munny at Chapter 184 Will Kroos made his first UK defence against Charles Crowley who returned from Japan promising to upset the new champion. In a hard hitting encounter Kroos showcased his power and composure, managing to eventually keep the ever fighting Crowley down to retain the title in front of the PROGRESS faithful.
Result: Will Kroos (c) defeated Charles Crowley to retain the PROGRESS Atlas Championship
Owadasan vs Gene Munny
Owadasan continuing his UK learning excursion from Pro Wrestling NOAH went head to head with former Atlas Champion Gene Munny. Despite Owadasan’s aggression and trademark use of roughhouse tactics Munny’s experience proved too much on this occasion as he secured victory with Session Moth Martina in his corner.
After the match, Martina attacked Owadasan only for Munny to stop the proceedings and claim Owadasan is in fact, his long lost twin brother.
Result: Gene Munny defeated Owadasan
Simon Miller vs Mulligan w/Josh Holly
Following his quick victory over Josh Holly at the previous Chapter Simon Miller faced a new challenge as Holly brought in the 7ft Welsh powerhouse Mulligan to seek revenge. Despite the size difference Miller overcame the odds once again defeating Mulligan to continue his momentum toward reclaiming the Proteus Championship he was never pinned for.
Result: Simon Miller defeated Mulligan
