After overcoming the odds in a brutal eight-person DEFY To Survive match at Washington Hall, Rhio firmly cemented her position as the number one contender for the PROGRESS Women’s World Championship. With her sights now set on Nina Samuels and Chapter 179: PROGRESS, LAS VEGAS, Rhio seemed ready to headline PROGRESS’ US chapter in style.
But someone Stateside has other plans.
Just as Rhio began to turn her attention to her long-awaited title shot, she was interrupted by none other than Vert Vixen! Vixen reminded Rhio (and everyone watching) that the two have met before for the gold… and that Rhio only survived by count-out. Not content with watching from the sidelines, Vert Vixen issued a direct challenge to both Rhio and Nina Samuels for Las Vegas.
The tension didn’t end with words.
Vixen and Rhio’s confrontation quickly escalated into a wild backstage brawl at DEFY, leaving officials scrambling to separate them — and leaving fans questioning whether the Women’s World Title match at Chapter 179 could be about to change entirely.
Vert Vixen is demanding to be added to the title match on April 17th, and with the Vegas crowd behind her, PROGRESS management now face a big decision.
