WWE Night of Champions 2025 – How To Watch, Start Time And Event Guide
CM Punk and John Cena prepare for one final chapter – with the WWE Championship on the line.
“One Last Time” – Cena vs. Punk Ends Where It All Began
Fourteen years ago, CM Punk tore the heart out of WWE when he beat John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011, snatched the WWE Title, and blew a kiss to Vince McMahon before vanishing through the Chicago crowd.
Now, in 2025, the ‘Second City Saint’ returns not to run — but to rescue.
This time, it’s John Cena who holds the gold — on the verge of retirement, 17-time world champion, and unapologetically rewriting history on his terms.
Punk? He’s not having it.
Their final showdown goes down at WWE Night of Champions, and if Punk fails, Cena edges one step closer to leaving the sport as champion and the self-proclaimed “saviour” of sports entertainment. For Punk, it’s put up or shut up. For Cena, it’s legacy or bust.
King & Queen of the Ring Finals Set for Riyadh
Also confirmed for the card: the finals of both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. With a guaranteed World Title match at SummerSlam hanging in the balance, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill & Asuka, are closing in on coronation. Whoever wins in Riyadh may well be next in line to challenge the WWE’s reigning royalty — or whoever walks out of Night of Champions with the throne.
Eyes on Gold – And Those Who Hold It
At WWE Night of Champions, chaos and brutality are guaranteed as three high-stakes clashes take centre stage. Jacob Fatu defends the United States Championship in a powerhouse showdown against Solo Sikoa, in a battle that could shake the foundations of the Bloodline. Sami Zayn steps into the ring with the dangerous and unpredictable Killer Kross, in what promises to be a psychological and physical war. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez settle their bitter rivalry in a no-rules Street Fight, where brutality and vengeance will spill far beyond the ropes.
