Warren Banks In Action

“Tate WILL Be Seeing me again!” Warren Banks Talks on his return match at PROGRESS

PROGRESS Wrestling fans witnessed the long awaited return of Warren Banks at Chapter 148: Start Spreading The News… As he teamed up with close friend Big Damo to take on The 0121 in tag team action.

Banks and The Beast of Belfast picked up the win in their first PROGRESS match of 2023, with the former pinning Dan Moloney to secure a memorable victory after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

But the major talking point came after the pinfall, when Banks was attacked by Tate Mayfairs, leaving a bitter-sweet taste in the mouth of The Nigerian Kaiju.

Speaking after his first match in more than six months, Banks warned Mayfairs he now has a target on his back after his actions at Chapter 148.

“I am ok, Tate doesn’t hit too hard although he is a pretty solid guy. People like Tate Mayfairs have been running around treating PROGRESS like their own little playground and they have a way of finding people like me, and that’s what Tate has done.

“I know Tate thinks it’s all done and dusted. He thinks he has had the last laugh and will go away and drink an overpriced cocktail to celebrate, but it doesn’t work like that. Tate will be seeing me again!”

Reflecting back on his match, teaming with former WWE superstar, Big Damo, Banks was happy to score the pinfall and praised his opponents, The 0121.

He concluded: “We picked up a huge win and it was great to get back out there competing alongside a great friend of mine in Big Damo.

“I have a lot of love for The 0121 boys. It was a tight match that could have gone either way, and I had to pull out the mousetrap pin on Dan Moloney to get the win.”

What will happen next between Tate Mayfairs and Warren Banks?

Our next show, CHAPTER 149: Establish Your Love, will take place on Sunday 12th February at the 02 Ritz in Manchester. To purchase your tickets, please CLICK HERE.
