Five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, WCW champion and WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T, had a simple yet motivating message for the PROGRESS Wrestling locker room.
The current WWE NXT commentator is watching! Speaking inside the PROGRESS Wrestling squared circle, at the For the Love of Wrestling’s annual event in Manchester, Booker admitted he is intrigued to see what is happening at the UK’s largest independent wrestling company.
Many household wrestling names attended the For the Love of Wrestling event at the BEC Arena, Europe’s largest dedicated wrestling fan convention, including the likes of the Big Show Paul Wight, FTR, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Britt Baker, Bryan Danielson, The Dudley Boys, Jamie Hayter and Adam Cole. Also in attendance were MMA stars Chuck Liddell, Rampage Jackson, George St Pierre (GSP) Leon Edwards and Matt Hughes who all were in great spirits.
PROGRESS Wrestling had a prime position at For the Love of Wrestling, with many talent also featuring including current PROGRESS Women’s Champion Lana Austin who was in full force with Lanaoke and Tate Mayfairs who showed the entire audience how great he is throughout the weekend.
Alongside this, the flagship show in the UK hosted Chapter 152 – For The Love Of PROGRESS just 24 hours before For the Love of Wrestling began, in the same arena, setting up an action packed three days of wrestling in Manchester.
Speaking at For the Love of Wrestling, Booker T said: “We may come to PROGRESS, and we want to see the best that PROGRESS Wrestling has got to offer!”
The momentum continues for PROGRESS Wrestling and later this month, the highly anticipated Super Strong Style 16 begins, with three more action packed days of wrestling for PROGRESS fans.
Super Strong Style 16 will commence on Saturday 27th May, with the first day at the Dome, London, and the second and third day at the Electric Ballroom, London. Tickets are still on sale, and can be purchased now by CLICKING HERE.
