PRO WRESTLING NOAH’S YOSHIKI INAMURA TO DEBUT IN PROGRESS WRESTLING

Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestler Yoshiki Inamura has been announced to make his PROGRESS Wrestling debut next weekend at our double header in Birmingham and Sheffield on the 9th & 10th September. The future NOAH standout was told by KENOH last month that he was getting stronger, and it is felt by Pro Wrestling NOAH management that a UK excursion will make him even stronger as he will face some of the best wrestlers in the world, whilst adapting to new styles.

His farewell match in Pro Wrestling NOAH this Sunday was a six-man tag against Takashi Sugiura, Masa Kitamiya and Naomichi Marufuji proving he has faced the best Japan has to offer, but now it is time for him to hone his craft on UK soil. PROGRESS Wrestling is the home of British Strong Style wrestling, and his matches in our company promise to be as hard-hitting as they are spectacular.

First up for the man that Keiji Muto personally picked to be his tag team partner during his retirement tour, is a PROGRESS ATLAS Championship match against Ricky Knight Jr at Chapter 155: Feel The Noize in Birmingham. That bout is then followed by his trip to Sheffield at Chapter 156: Steal Yourself to face LJ Cleary.

It is a huge honour for PROGRESS Wrestling to have Yoshiki Inamura challenge for the ATLAS Championship on his debut with the company, but our champion Ricky Knight Jr is certainly no pushover, having gained a massive win for himself over Davey Boy Smith Jr in the battle of the families on our joint show with DEFY at AEW All In weekend. That match promises to have a big fight feel and he could well be stepping into his match in Sheffield against LJ Cleary on Sunday, carrying the PROGRESS ATLAS Championship around his waist.

WHAT CAN PROGRESS WRESTLING FANS EXPECT FROM YOSHIKI INAMURA?

Yoshiki Inamura is a formidable force in the world of professional wrestling, “The Towering Titan” has dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to honing his craft. Standing at an imposing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing in at 260 pounds, Yoshiki Inamura is a true heavyweight in every sense of the word. His physical attributes alone make him a dominant figure in the squared circle, but it’s his passion for wrestling and continuous improvement that sets him apart from the competition.

Inamura made his debut in the professional wrestling world with Pro Wrestling NOAH and continues to be a flagbearer for the company, including in PROGRESS Wrestling next weekend. Despite his imposing presence and brute strength, Yoshiki Inamura is not just a one-dimensional wrestler. He possesses surprising agility for a man of his size, often taking to the air with his offence. This versatility has allowed him to adapt to a variety of opponents and match styles, where he has recently competed in their N-1 Victory tournament against PROGRESS Wrestling alumni Timothy Thatcher amongst others.

Inamura’s journey has not been without its challenges. He has faced some of the best wrestlers in the world and has consistently risen to the occasion in terms of performance, but not always in results. His determination to become the best has seen him undergo rigorous training and a relentless commitment to improving his skills, with his strength training photos and videos gaining popularity online amongst his fans.

Off the mat, Yoshiki Inamura is known for his humility and respect for the wrestling tradition. He pays tribute to the legends who paved the way for him and acknowledges the support of his fans as he continues to climb the ranks in the world of professional wrestling.

His announcement on social media that he would be debuting with PROGRESS Wrestling was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, with UK fans itching to see a wrestler they have never before been able to.

As Yoshiki Inamura’s career unfolds, PROGRESS wrestling fans can say “I was there when he made his first excursion to the UK before the “The Towering Titan” reached the pinnacle of the wrestling world.” Don’t miss the chance to witness history in the making as Yoshiki Inamura steps into a PROGRESS Wrestling ring for the first time.
