A SUPERB WEEK OF WRESTLING – plus major news updates

What a magical weekend of wrestling we have just had.

Fast on the heels of our own Chapter 154 and DEFY’s UK debut came the biggest wrestling show seen in the UK with AEW’s successful UK debut at Wembley Stadium.

We hope you were there – Lee, Besty, and the owners of DEFY were and we’re sure they enjoyed it as much as you.

We watched with pride as so many associated with PROGRESS and DEFY showed their talents:-

Will Ospreay

Toni Storm

Nick Wayne

Shane Strickland

Darby Allin

Jon Moxley

Adam Cole

Konosuke Takeshita

Brody King

Malakai Black

And even our current ATLAS champion Ricky Knight Jr walked his Aunt, Saraya, out to her amazing victory, and we hope you saw Simon Miller, Man like Dereiss and Leon Slater as a guard of honour in the pre-show, with Lizzy Evo and Session Moth Martina helping out too.

To acknowledge this amazing weekend, we hope you are signed up to have the opportunity to see many of the above on DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS.

ONE – We are delighted to announce our first partner on DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS will be none other than one of the USA’s most respected promotions – our partner over the weekend, DEFY. They have a superb reputation and have showcased the talents of Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland and Nick Wayne in recent years and have some fine matches that you will soon be able to see.

Their debut offering will be their recent London show, The Splendid & the Vile, which featured KENTA vs Mark Haskins, and this will be the first DEFY show on our new platform on Friday 8th September – the day before our double header weekend in Birmingham and Sheffield.

TWO – We are also delighted to announce that following AEW’s announcement of their second UK show on Sunday 25th August 2024 the second PROGRESS/DEFY joint UK show will take place on Saturday 24th August 2024 – with tickets going on sale soon.

THREE  – Our very own Chapter 154: It’s CLOBBERIN’ Time from last weekend will be showing on DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS from 5pm on Friday 1st September.
