Kid Lykos vs. Nico Angelo grudge match added to PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 177

Kid Lykos vs. Nico Angelo grudge match added to PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 177: My Own Destiny

The road to Chapter 177: My Own Destiny has been paved with animosity, betrayal, and brutal attacks and now it all comes to a head in Camden as Kid Lykos seeks revenge against Nico Angelo in a high-stakes grudge match. After months of violence and bad blood, the former PROGRESS Women’s Championship finally gets the opportunity to deliver a reckoning to the man who cost him a shot at redemption and the gold he used to hold.

At Chapter 173: Stay Young & Invincible Nico Angelo made his intentions clear when he confronted Connor Mills backstage, declaring it was time to become “the best version” of himself. Later, in a shocking turn of events, Angelo and Mills viciously ambushed Lykos Gym following their hard-fought victory over Trew and Lacey. The attack was brutal, calculated, and personal, setting the stage for a feud that has only escalated in intensity.

Fast forward to VENDETTA 2, where Angelo and Mills debuted as the tag team Nico X Mills. The pair not only defeated Lykos Gym but did so in devastating fashion, injuring the leg of Kid Lykos II and leaving him in agony. This act of cruelty solidified the duo as one of the most dangerous alliances in PROGRESS Wrestling and made a statement of their intent to come.

The animosity between these two factions boiled over at Unboxing, when Nico X Mills once again made their presence felt. After Kid Lykos II’s singles bout with El Hijo Del Vikingo, Angelo and Mills launched another vicious assault, further targeting his already damaged leg.

However, the night took an even darker turn during the Thunderbastard match. Nico Angelo, with a golden opportunity at a future title shot on the line, abandoned his own ambitions to attack Kid Lykos. The assault was so ferocious that Angelo was disqualified, throwing away his chance at glory in favour of inflicting only pain. In that moment, Angelo didn’t just cost himself the Thunderbastard key – he robbed Kid Lykos of his own shot at reclaiming the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship.

With tensions at a breaking point, PROGRESS management signed a tag team rematch for Chapter 176 in Manchester, pitting Lykos Gym against Nico X Mills. This match promises to be an all-out war, with Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II out for revenge against the team that has left their mark – both figuratively and literally – on Lykos Gym.

But the story doesn’t end in Manchester. At Chapter 177: My Own Destiny, Kid Lykos and Nico Angelo will face off in a high-stakes singles match.

For Angelo, this is another opportunity to prove why he’s one of the most dangerous and unpredictable competitors in PROGRESS Wrestling. Having shown he’s willing to sacrifice everything – including title opportunities, to inflict suffering, Angelo will stop at nothing to dismantle Kid Lykos in Camden.

The path to Chapter 177 has been marked by violence, but in Camden, it all comes down to one question: can Kid Lykos overcome the relentless Nico Angelo and finally get his revenge? Or will Angelo’s vicious streak continue as he looks to make a name for himself by making Lykos another victim of his pain.
