Eddie, a former PROGRESS World Champion, was forced to relinquish the title in 2020 due to injury. Now, he’s looking to reclaim what he never lost.

Singles Match
Tate Mayfairs vs 1 Called Manders

At PROGRESS Chapter 171: History Is Written by the Victors, Tate Mayfairs will square off against the hard-hitting American 1 Called Manders. Mayfairs, coming off a devastating loss to Eddie Dennis at Chapter 170, which left him in visible tears. He is looking to regain momentum and assert himself as a dominant force in PROGRESS and a win here will go some way to reasserting himself at the top of the card. Meanwhile, Manders, a standout on the U.S. independent scene known for his intense brawling, is making his PROGRESS debut and looks to make an instant impact.

 

PROGRESS Tag Team Street Fight Championship Match
SAnitY (C) vs Smokin’ Aces

SAnitY’s Axel Tischer and Big Damo are determined to bring chaos to the Smokin’ Aces, following the latter’s ambush on Tischer at Chapter 169. Tischer has dismissed the Aces as “cowards” and vowed that they will regret ever crossing SAnitY​. Damo, equally fired up, declared, “We didn’t adopt chaos; we were born into chaos,” signalling that this match will be a brutal affair​​. The Smokin’ Aces, however, are out to reclaim their spot at the top after returning from injury in devastating fashion, setting the stage for a violent and unpredictable clash.

Marina Shafir (C) vs Nina Samuels vs Kanji

Kanji & Nina Samuels are having their problems right now so how about we interject THE problem? Marina Shafir makes her UK debut & defends her DEFY Women’s Championship in a triple threat match at Chapter 171.

Allie Katch hasn’t had a singles match in PROGRESS for a year & Lizzy Evo hasn’t been seen since SSS16. Both look to reassert themselves in the women’s division when they go one-on-one at Chapter 171. Who will rise the ranks?
