“PROGRESS Wrestling is so so cool and it is great to say I have now performed at PROGRESS.”
American superstar Allie Katch has always had a passion and a desire to perform at PROGRESS Wrestling – an achievement she was able to strike off her bucket list in 2022!
She has followed a long line of globally recognised professional wrestlers who have shared the same aspirations and goals – the most recent being former AEW and WWE superstar, Lio Rush.
Katch made her return to the UK’s flagship brand earlier this month at Chapter 149: Establish Your Love, when she defeated close friend, Session Moth Martina.
The match against the Queen of Sesh Style was a late change to the card, with Katch due to be facing Lana Austin for the PROGRESS Women’s title, with Moth the guest referee.
However, the Champ had other ideas and refused to enter the ring with both Moth and Katch as “they are both alcoholics”, leading to the two friends deciding to have their own match in Lana Austin’s absence.
Allie Katch, one half of Team Bussy with EFFY, is far from finished at PROGRESS Wrestling, and PROGRESS fans shouldn’t be surprised if they see her again in 2023.
“It is so cool that I was asked back to PROGRESS,” admitted Katch. “PROGRESS is so well organised, and you know exactly what you’re doing as soon as you arrive. I always feel very relaxed as a performer when I come to compete at PROGRESS.
“I always had aspirations to wrestle at PROGRESS, it is one of the top places to show what you can do. I am a huge fan.
“It is very cool to say I have performed on the same brand as Toni Storm and Pete Dunne for example. I can now say I have performed at PROGRESS, just like they have.
“I don’t want this to be a one off occasion, I want to perform at PROGRESS multiple times. The roster is great, right now I seem to be around Lana Austin and her group at the moment, they are annoying, but the rest of them are great!
“I would even like to come back with EFFY and do tag matches. There is a ton of things I would like to achieve at PROGRESS.”
