It was another historic night at PROGRESS at the Electric Ballroom on Sunday as the ‘Daily Star’s favourite wrestler™’ Lana Austin was crowned as the winner of the PROGRESS Women’s World Title!
Lana defeated Kanji in front of a packed crowd in the Electric Ballroom, Camden to cap off a pulsating finale to Chapter 146: They Think It’s All Over…
The triumph for Lana now means that she has not only become PROGRESS Women’s Champion, but also, Austin took the belt from her fierce rival in the capital.
Lana was too busy celebrating and warming her voice up for post show Lana-Oke following her victoryto speak to us directly, so it was left to ‘The Villainess’ Skye Smitson, another member of the Lana Austin Experience, to speak on her behalf.
Skye said: “Let’s put some respect on her name, she’s asked me to tell you to put damn respect on her name.
“She is your current and your forever PROGRESS Women’s Champion, and no-one, especially not Kanji is going to take it from her.”
