PROGRESS Tag Team Championship Match
Smokin’ Aces vs SAnitY
Smokin’ Aces have held the PROGRESS Tag Team for over 250 days now since winning them at last year’s Super Strong Style 16 weekend in somewhat controversial fashion. Can they hold onto their titles against the supreme force of SAnitY at Twisted Metal?
Big Damo and Axel Tischer have won all four of their two-on-two tag team matches in PROGRESS Wrestling bistory and have all the momentum coming into this match. They laid claim to wanting the titles months ago in a sit-down interview for this website and come the 25th February, that claim could finally come to fruition!
Singles Match
Man Like DeReiss vs. YOICHI
YOICHI arrived in PROGRESS Wrestling looking to find himself and after a name change and new attitude, his win/loss record in the company has improved dramatically. He has impressed in two main events in PROGRESS already, including in last month’s THUNDERBASTARD match. Can he continue his upward trajectory against one of the biggest fan favourites on the roster?
Man Like DeReiss has had a fantastic run in PROGRESS Wrestling but as of late he has been involved in the tag team scene and this return to singles action will see him looking to get back into title contention as the Boisterous one has in the past. Can he start his 2024 in PROGRESS Wrestling with a big singles win that will get him back on track in either the ATLAS or World Championship hunt?
Singles Match
Bullit vs Kid Lykos
This is one of the biggest grudge matches of 2024. Bullit has made Kid Lykos II‘s life a misery in the past few months whilst Spike Trivet has directed his ire along with Dominatus Regnum at Lykos Gym. Bullit has been ordered to injure Kid Lykos II, send him through tables and attack at will, all of which Lykos II has endured.
However, much to their dismay, diespite the numbers game being against him and a definitive size disadvantage, Lykos II has provedd himself time and time again to be a friend of Lykos and he simply has not wavered in his heart and desire to fight back against the odds. At chapter 162: Light of the Dragon Lykos II atacked Bullit after his win over Shigehiro Irie and demanded this match.
He is showing no fear and he isn’t backing down… but is he biting off more than he can chew?
Singles Match
Simon Miller vs Rob Drake
Simon Miller told us that he would address his future in PROGRESS Wrestling during Chapter 162 and he did just that by announcing to PROGRESS fans that he will no longer be the host of our shows…
But it’s not all sad news as he went on to say that he is now a full-time member of the active roster! He mentioned some goals for his in-ring career including a spot in Super Strong Style 16 before confirming he will be on the card for our Chapter 166 show in Philadelphia this April.
However, Rob Drake certainly seemed to take offence to the announcement and ran down the ups and downs man before falling to a spear from Miller and the match has been made for Chapter 163: it’s Simon Miller vs Rob Drake… can Miller pick up his first singles win in PROGRESS?
There is just days left to buy your PROGRESS Wrestling tickets for Chapter 163: Twisted Metal in Camden. Head to the DICE app to see this STACKED card live and in person.
