One prominent duo that embodies both strength and unity is Lana Austin and Rob Drake, affectionately known as the power couple of PROGRESS Wrestling. Lana Austin, a former PROGRESS Women’s World Champion, has captivated audiences with her in-ring prowess and undeniable charisma. Alongside members LA Taylor and Skye Smitson, she formed the Lana Austin Experience, a force to be reckoned with in the world of tag team competition.
While Rob Drake may not be an official member of the Lana Austin Experience, his presence alongside Lana adds another layer to their collective persona. Towards the end of 2023, both TK Cooper and Chuck Mambo ventured into singles competition. Despite facing setbacks and losses, the duo reunited as a tag team at UNBOXING VI, returning to PROGRESS Wrestling with their heads held high.
At THE LIGHT OF THE DRAGON event, Sunshine Machine squared off against The Grizzled Young Veterans in a highly anticipated match, securing their first victory of 2024. Following the match, The Grizzled Young Veterans praised Sunshine Machine, showcasing an act of camaraderie and respect within the wrestling community.
